Activate new ASUS replacement battery S6
- The new notebook computer should get small electricity for the first time. To activate the new ASUS S6 laptop battery, should not use the outer power first, but use up the energy of battery until the notebook shut down. Then charge the ASUS S6 battery with the outer power until the indicator light go out. Then use up the energy again. Repeating 3 times to activate new laptop battery.
Tips for S6 battery:
- Your new S6 battery comes in a discharged condition and must be charged before use (refer to your computer manual for charging instructions). Upon initial use (or after a prolonged storage period) the battery may require two to three charge/discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.
- When charging ASUS S6 battery for the first time your computer may indicate that charging is complete after just 10 or 15 minutes. This is a normal phenomenon with rechargeable batteries. Simply remove the battery from the computer and repeat the charging procedure.
- Do not expose ASUS S6 Battery to water or other moist/wet substances.
- It is important to condition (fully discharge and then fully charge) ASUS S6 battery replacement every two to three weeks.
